Buchanan has appeared on shows like Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club (ITV), The Now Show (BBC Radio 4), and Breaking the News (BBC Radio Scotland). As a writer, he has contributed to Scot Squad and Short Stuff (BBC Scotland). His Channel 4 short film The Dead Don’t Care earned a nomination for the 2025 RTS Scotland Awards. Stephen co-hosts the Some Laugh podcast and is set to perform his new show, Cold Meat, at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe.
